What
is an Access Number called DID and
How It Works ?
Access
Number or DID is a U.S. number assigned
to you by UWT, for example:
310-222-2345 , you have to dial as if you are calling to the U.S.A.
from your country, but with one difference you have to add the PLUS
(+) sign before the number as an example : +310-222-2345, the (+)
is the code that you dial for international calls.
Once
you dialed +3102222345 as we called it DID,
let it ring ONCE and then hang up, you don't pay for this call.
After
few seconds you will receive a call to the destination number you
indicated in your sign up form, you opened a line for you to call
and you will hear the promote : "Please
enter the number you wish to call " .
Now
you can dial the destination number you wish to call, with
one exception:
If you are calling internationally ( not to the U.S.A. ) for example
to france,
you should dial 00-33-1-xxx-xxxx, if
you dial to the U.S.A. you do not have to use
00 before the number, just 1-are code-number for example
to New York you dial 1-212-234-5678.
